Prohibited Uses Include:
- Storing large volumes of files that are not directly related to your website, such as backups, archives, videos, or other non-website data.
- Utilizing server space for personal file storage, backup storage, or storage of large media files not accessible from your website.
- Storing or distributing content that violates intellectual property laws, including copyrighted material.
2. Traffic and Bandwidth Usage #
We offer high bandwidth limits to support growing websites; however, to prevent abuse, bandwidth usage should align with normal website operation.
a. Fair Traffic Allowance #
While we provide generous traffic allowances, excessive bandwidth usage that strains server resources may result in limitations to ensure the availability of resources for all customers. Excessive usage includes, but is not limited to:
- Hosting files for download that cause high traffic surges.
- Using services as content distribution networks (CDNs) for media or streaming purposes.
b. Mitigation Measures #
If a user’s traffic consistently exceeds fair usage limits, Nitrodium may:
- Provide recommendations for reducing traffic strain.
- Temporarily throttle bandwidth or suspend the account until the user addresses high usage.
- Recommend a plan upgrade for accounts with consistently high traffic.
3. Prohibited Content #
To maintain a safe and legally compliant hosting environment, Nitrodium prohibits the storage or distribution of certain types of content on its servers.
Users May Not Host:
- Illegal Content: Content promoting illegal activities or violating any applicable laws or regulations.
- Adult Content: Pornographic material or other explicit adult content.
- Copyrighted Material Without Authorization: Unauthorized content, including movies, music, software, and other materials protected by copyright.
- Gambling-Related Content: Content related to online gambling, betting, or similar activities.
- Cryptocurrency Activities: Activities related to cryptocurrency mining, trading platforms, or any other blockchain-based transactions.
- Malicious Content: Content that includes malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
4. Email and Messaging Usage #
Our services allow reasonable use of email for business purposes. To prevent spam and abuse, the following restrictions apply:
- Bulk Emailing and Spam: Nitrodium strictly prohibits using our services to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam). Sending bulk emails must comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other applicable regulations.

5. Resource Usage (CPU, RAM, Disk I/O) #
Each hosting plan is designed with specific CPU, RAM, and disk I/O allocations. While we aim to offer flexibility, misuse of resources can impact other clients. The following practices are encouraged for fair use:
- Optimizing Scripts and Code: Inefficient code, such as poorly optimized database queries or scripts with high resource demands, may lead to account suspension.
- Regularly Reviewing Plugins and Add-ons: Users are encouraged to review plugins or applications regularly to avoid resource drain due to outdated or incompatible add-ons.
- Proactive Resource Monitoring: Users should monitor their resource usage and consider upgrades if their websites regularly reach resource limits.
6. Consequences of Policy Violations #
a. Notifications and Warnings #
For minor violations, Nitrodium may provide a notification or warning with recommendations for compliance. Users are expected to take corrective action promptly.
b. Service Suspension and Limitations #
In the case of serious or repeated violations, Nitrodium reserves the right to:
- Suspend or limit account access to prevent server strain or misuse.
- Permanently disable features that are subject to misuse.
- Terminate accounts found in severe breach of this policy.
c. Immediate Termination for Serious Violations #
In cases of severe violations, such as illegal activity, malicious actions, or activities that harm other users, Nitrodium reserves the right to terminate the account immediately without prior notice.
